Job summary

World Wrapps International LLC is seeking an HR and Recruiting Manager to own the full employee lifecycle across multiple restaurant locations. The role drives recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations to support operational excellence and a strong team member experience.

The position emphasizes California labor law expertise, multi-location HR experience, and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

3–5+ years in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Management (multi-location or hospitality preferred).
Strong knowledge of California labor laws, payroll practices, benefits administration, and compliance.
Proven experience recruiting for hourly and leadership roles.
Highly organized with ability to manage deadlines, trackers, and reporting across locations.

Responsibilities

Own all recurring HR processes across locations, including performance reviews, documentation management, audits, trackers, and reporting.
Ensure accurate employee records across HRIS, payroll, and internal systems.
Serve as primary HR contact for General Managers, advising on policies, terminations, investigations, and employee relations matters.
Handle workers’ compensation claims, employment claims, leaves of absence, and state reporting.
Partner with payroll to support bi-weekly processing, corrections, and final pay.
Manage ongoing benefits administration including enrollments, audits, invoicing reviews, and open enrollment.
Lead hourly and GM recruiting efforts including sourcing, postings, screening, interviews, offers, and communications.
Own onboarding for hourly and management hires, ensuring timely completion of systems, docs, training, and checklists.
Conduct in-person onboarding and HR process training for General Managers.
Produce regular people reporting including turnover analysis, engagement insights, tip trends, and bonus tracking.
Analyze trends across locations, roles, and lifecycle stages; present findings to leadership.
Manage team member engagement surveys and deliver actionable reports to GMs.
Own recognition and milestone programs including birthdays, anniversaries, referrals, and monthly recognition.
Oversee offboarding for managers including asset recovery, system deactivation, and notification workflows.
