Job summary

Heven AeroTech, located in Sterling, Virginia, is seeking an HR & Recruiting Intern to support People Operations and Recruiting with end-to-end lifecycle tasks. You will assist with sourcing, screening, onboarding, and documentation while gaining hands-on exposure in a fast-paced aerospace tech environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and capable of handling confidential information with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently graduated in a relevant field (HR, business, psychology, communications).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities: sourcing, resume screening, interview scheduling, candidate communications.
• Support applicant tracking systems and recruiting documentation.
• Assist with onboarding: preparing new hire materials and coordinating pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation per company policies.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and company events.
• Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and reporting.
• Prepare spreadsheets and presentations to support People Operations.
• Participate in HR, recruiting, and cross-functional meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
