Job summary

Comprehensive Community Health Centers, Inc. in Glendale, CA is seeking a Recruiter Assistant to support a collaborative HR team. Under supervision of Senior HR Recruiter, you will assist with hiring, scheduling, onboarding, and maintaining employee files.

The role emphasizes administrative support, ATS maintenance, interviewing support, and ensuring a positive work environment. Experience in HR or healthcare is preferred; associates degree encouraged.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Excellent vocabulary, grammar and spelling aptitude.
• Associates degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in HR and/or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• 1 year of prior recruitment experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains department office area in an organized and professional manner including supplies and equipment.
• Assist with scheduling applicants interviews and testing.
• Coordinates the pre-employment onboarding of new hires, i.e., health screening appointments, HR paperwork, employee verifications, and credentialing paperwork packet.
• Creates new hire personnel/medical files.
• Provides administrative support in the preparation of correspondence, reports, schedules, confidential materials and various employee issues.
• Maintains application tracking system
• Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assists interna/external customers with any questions, directions to the property, etc.
• Assists with recruitment, initial phone screenings, interviewing, and selection processes and sends appropriate correspondence to all applicants in a timely manner.
• Provides administrative support to the HR department.
• Preps new hire orientation programs/trainings.
• Works closely with all employees to ensure a positive work environment.
• Maintains a daily log of important information to share with the department.
• Performs miscellaneous job duties as assigned
