Qualifications

• 2+ years in talent acquisition or similar role for skilled trades
• Experience recruiting HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical roles preferred
• Bachelor's degree in HR preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify candidates in a competitive skilled trades market
• Engage local trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and job fairs to build a pipeline of licensed professionals
• Manage end-to-end hiring for HVAC Technicians, Installers, Plumbers, Electricians, Sales, Administrative and Management roles
• Conduct initial screens assessing experience, certifications, licenses, safety knowledge and fit
• Collaborate with Service Managers and Directors to define requirements and streamline interviews
• Ensure a positive candidate experience reflecting high standards
• Promote IRBIS as a premier employer for skilled tradespeople

As an HR Recruiter at IRBIS Air Plumbing Electrical, you’ll own full-cycle hiring for our skilled trades and operational teams while earning $39,500k plus performance pay! This role plays a direct role in company growth by attracting, evaluating, and securing top HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Sales talent in a competitive market.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re proactive, organized, and relationship-driven, with a passion for building pipelines in the skilled trades space. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, consistency, and follow-through, enjoys working closely with leadership, and takes pride in finding the right people to power a high-performing team.

Position Overview

Pay Range: Earn $39,500K plus Performance Pay!

• Base Salary: $39,500K plus Performance Pay

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday
• 8am - 5pm

Position Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or similar role with a proven track record of successfully hiring Skilled Trades, Home Services, or Field Service professionals
• Experience in Service Titan is preferred
• Bachelors degree in HR is preferred
• Deep understanding of the labor market and compensation trends for HVAC Technicians, Plumbers, and Electricians
• Proficiency in sourcing techniques and building relationships with trade schools and vocational programs
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage candidates in the highly competitive skilled trades market
• Utilize platforms, local trade schools, apprenticeship programs, industry associations, and local job fairs to build a consistent pipeline of licensed and certified professionals
• Manage the hiring process for all roles, including high-volume recruitment for HVAC Technicians, Installers, Plumbers, and Electricians, as well as Sales, Administrative, and Management positions
• Conduct initial screens to assess candidates' experience, certifications, licenses, safety knowledge, and cultural fit
• Collaborate closely with Service Managers, Operations Leaders, and Sales Directors to define requirements, streamline the interview process, and fill open roles quickly
• Ensure all candidates, particularly field staff, have a professional and positive experience, reflecting our company's high standards
• Promote the company as a premier employer for skilled tradespeople, emphasizing career stability, training, compensation, and team culture.
