Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Lake Charles, LA invites an HR Professional to support policy questions, payroll, benefits, and international assignments. You will monitor HR programs and drive process improvements to enhance project HR operations.

You will mobilize project personnel, coordinate orientation, develop HR metrics, and assist with onboarding/offboarding, while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating across levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Typically a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR disciplines including employee relations, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and learning and development.
• Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage mobilization and onboarding for project personnel.
• Coordinate HR orientation sessions for new hires and transfers.
• Provide HR guidance to leaders on staffing and performance management.
• Prepare HR metrics and workforce reports for decision making.
• Support onboarding/offboarding logistics and basic training delivery.
• Answer routine HR policy questions and handle employee relations inquiries.
