The full-time HR Senior or Principal Professional will be responsible for recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations, training and development, faculty affairs and payroll processes for the BDC. This individual will maintain a working knowledge of all relevant policies and procedures and serve as a resource for faculty and staff on matters related to recruitment, onboarding, orientation, off-boarding, payroll processes, leave, performance management, and professional development. This position will work closely with University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and School of Medicine Human Resources units, as well as with the University’s Employee Services Department.
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings after an initial 90-day probationary period in which you must work full-time, in person.
The Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes (BDC) is the largest diabetes institute in the world specializing in type 1 diabetes research and care for children and adults. Over 235 clinicians, clinical researchers, basic biomedical scientists and supporting staff work at the BDC to find the most effective treatment, prevention, and cure for type 1 diabetes. The Center provides state-of-the-art diabetes care to over 7,500 children and adults with diabetes, as well as inpatient care at the Children’s Hospital Colorado.
