The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado is seeking an Open Rank Research Services Clinical Sciences Professional (Intermediate – Senior) to coordinate a large R01 trial focused on Type 2 Diabetes in Adults.

Job Summary:

The Renal Research Office (RRO) is a vibrant site on north campuswith 25 trials, 14 coordinators, 2 APPs, and 10 Investigators. Weare passionate about research and love what we do! This positionwill serve as primary coordinator for a large R01 trial focusing onType 2 Diabetes in Adults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and conducting research visits at AdultCTRC.
  • Utilizing CTRC Scheduler.
  • Transport study supplies and samples across campus in timelyand safe manner.
  • Scheduling eye exams at the Barbara Davis Center.
  • Performing vascular testing using the AtCor SphygmoCor.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date study records and dataentry.
Work Location:

Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located inAurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Intermediate Level:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • One (1) year of clinical research or related experience.
Senior Level:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Senior level: Two (2) years of clinical research or relatedexperience.

A combination of education and relatedtechnical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substitutedfor a bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.

An advanced degree (Masters or PhD) may be substituted forexperience on a year-for-year basis if the degree is in a field ofstudy directly related to the work assignment.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time ofhire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or health related field.
  • Three (3) years of clinical research or relatedexperience.
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g. EMR orEHR and data management systems).
Conditions of Employment:
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the UnitedStates without requiring sponsorship. We are unable to provide workvisa sponsorship or employment authorization for this position nowor in the future.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and GoodClinical Practice (GCP).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing andorally.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with employees at all levels throughout theinstitution.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology, and medicalterminology.
  • Ability to interpret and master complex research protocolinformation.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for thisposition has been established as:

  • Intermediate Level: $54,302 - $63,534
  • Senior Level: $58,705 - $68,685

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents theUniversity's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range ofpossible compensation at the time of posting. This position may beeligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
