The California Lottery is looking for a HR & Policy Liaison who is a self-starter, service-oriented, collaborative, and a critical thinking change champion. Under the general direction of the Sales & Marketing Administrative Services Manager (SSM II), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs HR/Personnel, Policy, and Administrative duties for the Sales & Marketing division. The AGPA performs a wide variety of consultative and analytical services related to personnel actions, recruitment, staffing, policy management, and other administrative functions for the Lottery's largest division.

The Sales & Marketing division is the largest division in the Lottery with over 500 employees that perform a wide variety of functions and activities, from product development and marketing communications to distribution and servicing and supporting over 23,000 retailers, directly contributing to generating over $9 billion in revenue and $2 billion in supplemental funds to California’s public education.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento and is eligible for either a remote-based or office-based telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as needed. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility for telework requires employee residence in California per California Government Code Section 14200 which states: “telecommuting means the partial or total substitution of computers or telecommunication technologies, or both, for the commute to work by employees residing in California.
