Job summary

OpenTrain is recruiting an HR and People Operations AI Evaluation Expert to fine-tune large language models using practical HR knowledge. You will establish reliable HR logic for AI tools, validate outputs against People Operations standards, and translate policies into clear, deterministic rules for models and builders.

This contractor role requires 40 hours per week with 8 hours overlap with Pacific Time, weekend on-call availability, and a project length up to 10 weeks. Remote work supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR, People Ops, or HRBP roles with verifiable peer reviews.
• Experience with ATS, headcount planning, compensation bands, and leave accrual rules.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; remote work setup.

Responsibilities

• Define guardrails for requisitions, headcount, and PTO rules in HR workflows.
• Translate policies into spreadsheet formulas, KPI definitions, and validation rules.
• Review outputs for HR standards and provide sign-off.
