Job summary

State-of-West-Virgini is seeking a dedicated Human Resources professional to support the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment and classification to benefits and payroll. You will use Kronos, NeoGov, and OASIS to guide staff through essential processes with precision and care.

In addition to HR duties, you will participate in a mandatory weekly 12-hour security shift to help maintain a safe workplace. Strong attention to detail and reliability are required for a role that blends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two years of full-time or part-time equivalent paid clerical experience.
• One year of which must have been in a support or paraprofessional role in human resources, payroll, bookkeeping or accounting.
• Substitution: Candidates may substitute education for the required experience at the rate of one year of experience for each thirty semester hours of education.
• A valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, classification, benefits and payroll.
• Work with Kronos, NeoGov and OASIS to help staff navigate essential processes with precision.
• Maintain clear communication and flawless records for all staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Fulfill a mandatory weekly 12-hour security shift on the front lines to support facility safety.
