Senior Health Care Facility near West Warwick, RI, seeks an experienced HR/Payroll Manager to lead the HR and payroll department within a skilled nursing environment. You will handle benefits, payroll, leave, workers' compensation, and policy interpretation with discretion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR/payroll experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of benefits administration, FMLA, and workers' compensation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A strong commitment to confidentiality.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Process weekly payroll in Paycor with data entry and deductions.
• Resolve payroll errors and respond to employee questions weekly.
• Maintain time clock system and payroll records per state and federal law.
• Administer employee benefits (health, dental, life, 401(k)) including enrollments and changes.
• Manage FMLA, state leave programs, and workers' compensation cases.
• Maintain OSHA logs and complete required documentation.
• Oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to termination.
• Coordinate new hire orientation with Staff Development Coordinator.
• Explain handbook and benefits options to staff.
• Respond to employment verification requests.
• Implement updates to payroll, benefits, and HR procedures.
• Attend facility meetings including fire and safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
