Job summary

Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes is seeking an HR & Payroll Coordinator to coordinate hiring and onboarding for the facility. You will screen candidates, conduct background checks, assist with offers and orientation, and ensure benefits and policies are reviewed thoroughly.

You will also support payroll administration, assist with staff appreciation events, and participate in annual evaluations to help maintain a positive workplace for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education showing ability to read, perform basic math, write legibly and follow directions in English.
• Experience with accounts payable and payroll software or systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates patience, tact and a positive attitude toward staff, residents and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and screens qualified candidates and coordinates with management.
• Conducts pre-employment processes including reference checks and background screens.
• Assists with offers, orientation and benefits review for new hires.
• Manages payroll functions in compliance with company policies and regulations.
