Job summary

Graceville Rehab in Florida is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations, ensuring accurate earnings, taxes, deductions, and compliance. You will maintain records and generate reports for management, supporting benefits administration.

Proficiency with Paycom or ADP is preferred; knowledge of healthcare payroll regulations is a plus. You will handle confidential information with professionalism in a faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing and related accounting duties.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Paycom or ADP is preferred.
• Working knowledge of payroll taxes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.

The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependablePayroll Specialist

What You Will Do

• Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
• Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
• Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
• Prepare reports for management review
• Assist with benefits administration
• Duties as assigned

What You Must Have

• Proven experience in payroll processing, accounting, or related field
• Proficiency in payroll systems and timekeeping platforms (experience with Paycom, ADP, or similar preferred)
• Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Experience with government or healthcare payroll is a plus
