Job summary

Maricopa County's Human Resources team is seeking a dedicated HR Associate to guide employees and managers through HR policies and processes. You will shape recruitment strategies, update job descriptions, and collaborate with leaders across hiring to ensure a smooth experience.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a human resources environment.
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in HR, business administration, public administration, or closely related field; additional HR experience may substitute education.

Responsibilities

• Interpret HR policies and provide clear guidance to employees and managers.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies and coordinate hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Manage ADA leave cases and accommodations, track through AbsenceSoft, advise on approvals/denials.
