Job summary

The Nagler Group in Northampton, MA is seeking an HR Partner to support a higher education environment in a temporary role from mid-October through the end of February. You will serve as a frontline HR resource, handling employee and labor relations while keeping HR processes moving.

Responsibilities include policies, confidentiality, and coordinating labor relations tasks in a hands-on setting. Workday experience is preferred; schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, hourly pay of $25–$30.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HR experience in an employee-facing role.
• Experience with employee relations and/or labor relations.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Workday experience preferred in a higher education environment is a plus.
• Able to jump in quickly, work independently, and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline HR resource for policies, procedures, and processes.
• Provide day-to-day support for employee relations and workplace concerns.
• Receive, document, and track employee relations issues with confidentiality.
• Support labor relations including grievance tracking and contract administration.
• Assist with workforce planning, restructuring, and organizational projects.
• Coordinate training logistics and follow-up reporting.
• Organize HR data and create workforce reports.
• Keep HR projects and documentation up to date.
