Qualifications

• Enrolled full‑time in an accredited college/university.
• Available to work 20‑24 hours per week during the school year and full‑time during breaks.
• This position is on‑site at GE Appliance Park located in Louisville, KY.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and interest in compliance and data accuracy.
• Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to change.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must be able to maintain such authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support the I‑9 and E‑Verify process across GE Appliances locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
• Review records and daily reports to help ensure timely and accurate completion of compliance-related tasks.
• Assist with internal audits of I‑9 and E‑Verify documentation and help address issues as needed.
• Complete Form I‑9 activities in Workday and E‑Verify tasks in the Department of Homeland Security system.
• Help ensure Tentative Non‑confirmations (TNCs) are handled and resolved in a timely manner.
• Respond to HR questions and support day‑to‑day operational requests.
• Partner on UX and UAT efforts related to benefits and HR application improvements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of more efficient workflows.
• Will support other areas of HR Operations as needed, including HR Technology and Payroll.
