Job summary

Lakeland Industries is seeking a participant for its Human Resources Development Program at the Corporate Office in Huntsville, AL. This role targets juniors, seniors, recent grads or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, compliance, employee records, and HRIS processes.

You will perform data entry, assist with talent acquisition, onboarding, and maintain HR records while learning ERP/HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a relevant bachelor’s degree in HR or related fields.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn HRIS systems and HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry, document prep, scanning, and record organization across HR systems.
• Assist full-cycle talent acquisition activities including posting roles and screening.
• Enter and update employee data in HRIS/ERP systems (training provided).
• Support onboarding processes and I-9 review assistance.
• Maintain HR logs, spreadsheets, and ensure compliance in documentation.
• Prepare routine HR reports, dashboards, and summaries for leadership.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
• Assist with office coordination tasks such as supply ordering and scheduling.
