Regional Planning & Coordinating Commission of Greene County, Ohio is seeking an HR professional at the first full performance level to support civil service processes under supervision. The role requires knowledge of human resources functions to perform basic assignments with prescribed outcomes.

Responsibilities include new-hire orientation, maintaining HRIS records, personnel files, and agency communications, plus public records coordination and routine reports.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field with 12 months public sector HR experience.
• Or 24 months experience in administrative, management or supervisory position with HR responsibilities.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts new hire orientation (e.g., presents training videos, summarizes important topics and/or policies from power point presentation), reviews, uploads and processes forms in Workday.
• Maintains appointment sheets, the table of organization and the HRIS for departments under the Board of County Commissioners; updates employee records as changes occur.
• Performs routine updates to miscellaneous forms and informational sheets; maintains personnel files, confidential medical files and records retention compliance.
• Answers routine inquiries; schedules meetings and appointments; generates routine correspondence; serves as a liaison between HR and employees, supervisors, elected officials and the public.
• Coordinates implementation of the catastrophic sick leave program; oversees social media and public communications efforts for Greene County Human Resources.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Director or in the absence of other staff members.
