Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to support day-to-day HR activities from candidate screening to onboarding. You will act as a resource for candidates, employees, and hiring managers, ensuring timely, professional HR service throughout the employee lifecycle.

The role emphasizes managing HR processes in Workday, coordinating background checks and employment eligibility, and maintaining accurate records while collaborating with HRBPs and recruiters.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and HR experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, recruiting, or general HR role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HR shared services inbox and phone line with timely, professional responses.
• Provide exceptional HR customer service throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Serve as primary HR contact for HRBPs, supervisors, and employees on policies and processes.
• Build relationships with recruiters, HRBPs, and leaders to ensure smooth hiring and onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities: background checks, drug screens, and eligibility requirements.
• Review pre-employment verification results to ensure compliance with laws.
