Job summary

UNFI is seeking an on-site HR Manager for our Atlanta Distribution Center. This role partners with operational leadership to implement and execute the HR strategy, leading a facility HR team and delivering talent development, workforce planning, engagement, performance management, compensation, benefits, and labor relations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, 5+ years HR leadership experience, and appropriate HR certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• PHR/SPHR/CHRL/CPHR certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Leads the HR function for a facility and drives performance.
• Manages HR Business Partners and associates at the facility.
• Executes HR programs and processes aligned with company strategy.
• Builds relationships with organizational leaders and provides coaching to leaders and staff.
• Leads workforce planning, talent development, onboarding, learning, compensation and benefits initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with HR policies and applicable laws.
