Job summary

City of Richland is seeking an experienced HR leader to oversee day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring a high level of efficiency and service quality. The role reports to the HR Director and supervises assigned staff.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business/public administration or related field, five years of HR experience with two in a supervisory role, and a valid driver’s license. Prior public-sector experience and labor union exposure are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business or public administration, human resources management, or related field.
• Five or more years of increasingly responsible human resources experience, including
• Two years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
