The Budd Group in Charlotte, NC seeks an HR Operations Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations across the Charlotte market. You will partner with branch leadership and Staffing Specialists to streamline processes and elevate the employee experience.

In this hands-on role, you will own onboarding for hourly staff, manage employee relations, and ensure policy compliance while fostering a positive, growth-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources or HR operations management.
• Experience supporting hourly workforces, high-volume staffing, or operational environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills—you build trust easily across all levels of an organization.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; SHRM-CP/PHR a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily HR operations, employee relations, policy administration, and compliance.
• Coach Staffing Specialists through onboarding, background checks, and hiring processes for hourly staff.
• Act as the primary HR resource for managers and employees, resolving questions with empathy and clarity.
• Drive retention and workplace culture initiatives in partnership with regional leadership.
• Maintain accurate employee records while optimizing core HR processes.

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

What You Bring To The Team

• 3+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources or HR operations management.

• Proven background supporting hourly workforces, high-volume staffing, or operational environments.

• Strong interpersonal skills—you build trust easily across all levels of an organization.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (SHRM-CP or PHR is a major plus!).
