Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, payroll, benefits, or HR generalist roles.
• Experience auditing payroll, benefits, or employee data.
• Experience supporting multi-state or distributed workforces.
• Workday experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience partnering with external vendors and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary resource for employee and manager inquiries related to HR operations, payroll, benefits, HR systems.
• Research and resolve HR operational issues while ensuring compliance with policies.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, workflows, and training materials.
• Lead payroll administration activities and coordinate with the payroll vendor.
• Administer benefits processes including enrollments and life events changes.
• Support 401(k) administration, including vendor coordination and compliance.
• Coordinate leave of absence administration and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain integrity of data within Workday and other HR systems.
• Generate and interpret HR reports to identify trends and risks.
• Identify operational risks and implement scalable improvement solutions.
• Leverage AI and automation to streamline processes.
