Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the Senior Manager of HR at the Smithton distribution center. The role focuses on data accuracy in HR systems, supporting the teammate life cycle, and leading administrative functions within the facility.

Responsibilities include producing employment documents, managing exits, and assisting with performance management. Applicants should have strong communication, teamwork, and data skills, with Workday experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HR or Business; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting HR policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and client consultation skills.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Process and procedure oriented; detail oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Workday HCM is a plus.
• Ability to work 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday - Friday with possible flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Functional Support: Prepare and review reports; validate data integrity; manage employment events in Workday (new hires, promotions, changes, terminations).
• Produce offer letters, non-compete agreements, and other employment documents.
• Complete exit interviews and analyze trends; address employee relations concerns.
• Assist HRBP and Senior Manager of HR with performance management matters.
• Perform QA audits to ensure SOP compliance; provide ad hoc HR reporting.
