Job summary

Inspire, a leader in restaurant brands, seeks a People Link Specialist to provide broad HR support across the Operations and Support Centers. You will work with HR processes including I-9, background checks, PTO, LMS, and HRIS access while safeguarding data integrity and regulatory compliance.

You will manage the Employee Case Management System, address unemployment claims, assist with subpoenas, and back up onboarding in the centers.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate/technical degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• Experience using HR systems and data integrity practices.
• Ability to apply HR concepts and procedures across channels.

Responsibilities

• Handle E Verify / I-9 compliance and background checks.
• Support PTO, learning management systems, and HRIS access.
• Maintain enterprise Employee Case Management System and monitor SLAs.
• Respond to subpoenas and security clearance requests.
• Manage terminated and active manager files for compliance.
• Handle unemployment claims, appeals, and hearings.
• Serve as a back-up for onboarding in the Support Centers.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks and participate in special projects.

Job description

Provide support for all HR functions across the Inspire Brands Operations and Support Centers. Ensure compliance throughout all Inspire Brands affiliates and protect the company with consistency, adherence to regulations and laws. This position will also be responsible for defined processes within Talent Management and various administrative tasks as assigned. The People Link Specialist will develop a working knowledge of Background Checks, the I-9 process, and data integrity.

Responsibilities

Provide general Human Resources support to team members and field managers by applying basic knowledge of HR concepts and procedures via multiple contact formats. Answer incoming calls and respond to incoming written inquiries to provide general HR support to all team members on all HR related systems and processes and procedures including:

• Employee Relations
• HRIS System Access
• E Verify / I-9 Compliance
• PTO
• Background Checks
• Learning Management Systems

Prioritize and support administrative work for various Human Resources departments

Maintain enterprise Employee Case Management System, which includes:

• Monitor Employee Systems for critical issues and elevate as required
• Ensure cases are completed and closed per SLAs

Respond to/Provide administrative HR support for incoming employment-related subpoenas & security clearance responses

Manage compliance for terminated team member files and manage active manager files

Respond to Unemployment claims, appeals and hearings

Act as a back-up for the onboarding process in the Support Centers

Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as necessary and participate with special projects, as needed

Education Qualifications

• A two-year associate/technical degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience and training
