Job summary

The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is seeking an administrative staff member to support HR personnel services in a team environment. This role focuses on intake, accuracy, and input to electronic systems for grant-sponsored employees, including onboarding and I-9/e-Verify compliance.

Responsibilities include assisting with new hires, rehires, modifications, terminations, and related HR processes; data verification for legal compliance; and occasional campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Two years of experience in Human Resources and customer service.
• Knowledge of employment law (DOL, USCIS, etc.).
• Excellent computer, communication, and business writing skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively at all staff levels and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Director in onboarding, hires, rehires, modifications, terminations, and related HR processes.
• Handle onboarding inquiries via telephone, email, or in person and input data into RF electronic systems.
• Verify data for compliance with employment laws and RF policies; ensure timely I-9/e-Verify completion.
• Visit campuses as needed and cover for team members during absences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
