U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Human Resources Specialist (GS-0201) to work within VISN 4 (legacy) Consolidated Classification Unit. The selectee must meet time-in-grade requirements and possess a graduate degree with progressive HR experience; specialized experience at GS-12 level is also required.

Time-in-grade and SF-50 documentation are required. The role focuses on guidance to facility staff, classification reviews, and delivering briefings and reports to HR leadership.

Competenze

• Graduate degree with three years of progressive specialized HR experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level.
• Specialized HR experience at the GS-12 level, including reviewing HR policies, procedures and providing recommendations to management.
• Experience includes briefing staff and presenting classifications and options to management.

Mansioni

• Reviews new or proposed HR policies, procedures, guidelines and the impact on organization practices and makes recommendations to management on the need for changes in existing network policies.
• Identifies, interprets, analyzes, cross-referencing, and applies classification standards and guides to render technically correct determinations for Title 5 positions; conducts training and presents data to HR supervisors and facility management.
