Job summary

First Solar is seeking an HR Generalist I to partner with HR management and Operations, delivering mobility, immigration and site-specific HR support across US locations. This role also handles employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation and employment-law compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in HR, knowledge of HRIS/ADP/Kronos, and a Bachelor's degree (PHR/SHRM-CP preferred). Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or business preferred.
• Knowledge of HRIS, ADP and Kronos preferred.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned sites and for immigration inquiries.
• Provide mobility and immigration support for US locations.
• Support employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation and compliance.
• Collect and analyze HR data, assist audits and reviews.
• Maintain confidential personnel and immigration records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and immigration laws.
