Job summary

First Solar seeks an HR Generalist I to collaborate with HR and Operations to provide mobility, immigration, and site-specific HR support for US locations. You will handle day-to-day mobility, serve as HR contact for associates across jurisdictions, and contribute to employee relations, training, onboarding, and compliance.

The role requires minimum 1–2 years in HR, a bachelor’s degree, and preferred PHR/SHRM-CP. Proficiency with HRIS, ADP, Kronos, and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of HR experience preferred.
• Manufacturing HR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems, ADP, and Kronos preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required, major in HR or business preferred.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned sites.
• Support mobility, immigration, and HR policy implementation.
• Collect, consolidate, analyze, and report HR and immigration data.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, local, and immigration laws.
