Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Human Resources leader to direct the HR function across hotels, overseeing recruitment, training, benefits and associate relations. You will partner with General Managers to drive staffing, development and engagement.

The role requires strong knowledge of HR laws, exemplary communication, and the ability to manage wage/benefit administration and labor relations. A degree in HR and relevant hospitality experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in hospitality or similar industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field; HR certification is helpful.
• Ability to work effectively with applicants and associates with tact and diplomacy.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal HR laws and regulations.
• Ability to perform moderately complex salary/benefit calculations and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage recruitment, training, benefits and associate relations.
• Guide management in effective recruiting, interviewing and hiring decisions.
• Oversee training programs and performance appraisal processes.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and Affirmative Action plans.
• Administer wages, benefits, and labor relations; respond to grievances.
• Coordinate pre-selection activities and employment eligibility verifications.
