Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a Task Force Director of Human Resources to lead HR operations across assigned hotels and transitions. The role covers recruitment, training, compliance, and associate relations, with travel expected up to 100%.

Responsibilities include guiding management, developing HR programs, overseeing payroll processes, and ensuring legal compliance across locations. A Bachelor’s in HR or related field is required; hotel HR leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field or HR certification is helpful.
• Previous hotel experience as a Human Resources Manager or Director required.
• Must have experience processing payroll.
• Ability to organize processes around all applicants and associates, with tact and diplomacy.
• Thorough knowledge of HR practices and laws related to HR matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to the General Manager and management on HR matters to align staff performance with hotel objectives.
• Develop and administer HR functions including recruitment, training, payroll (where applicable) and associate relations.
• Direct management in recruiting, interviewing, and ensuring hiring of qualified staff.
• Coordinate transition activities for new properties including interviews, offers, and HR training scheduling.
• Oversee onboarding and payroll training for newly acquired properties and time systems.
