Job summary

Armtec Defense Technologies in Camden, AR is seeking a Human Resources Manager to partner with the business, provide HR guidance to managers, and develop policies that optimize workforce utilization while ensuring compliance with labor laws. You will lead recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR reporting in a busy, mission-critical environment.

Strong communication and Union experience are preferred for success.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and management.
Union experience preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong HR knowledge and compliance with employment laws.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain relationships with all levels of management and provide HR guidance.
Oversee recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Conduct wage and salary surveys; administer salary plans; maintain job descriptions and evaluations.
Manage union activities including negotiations, grievances, and contract compliance.
Prepare HR reports and oversee HR transactions and payroll entry processes.
