Job summary

BoxUnion, a Los Angeles–based studio brand, is seeking an HR Manager to join the People Department. You will oversee core HR processes, employee life cycle, onboarding, performance management, and compliance for our California team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years HR experience, a Bachelor’s in HR or HR Certification, proficiency with Paycor and HRIS, and strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or HR Certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in HR roles.
• Familiarity with Paycor and HRIS systems; California labor law knowledge is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support HR projects and initiatives across employee life cycle and engagement.
• Partner with management to guide performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and training schedules with IT команд.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist HR reporting and metrics.
• Assist payroll processes and bi-weekly payroll calls with timekeeping accuracy.
• Support LOA inquiries and benefits administration; ensure compliance with company policies.
