Job summary

Pacific Recycling, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to independently lead HR and payroll functions for the organization.

This role operates as a department of one, serving employees, supervisors, and leadership across multiple locations. You will manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, investigations, benefits, leave administration, policy development, and offboarding, while ensuring accurate weekly payroll and payroll reporting using

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Hands-on payroll processing experience, including timekeeping and payroll reconciliation.
• Experience managing employee relations, investigations, recruiting, benefits, leave administration, and performance management.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HR and payroll functions across multiple locations.
• Develop, maintain, interpret, and administer company policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Coordinate employee performance reviews and related processes.
• Support leadership with workforce planning, employee retention, compensation reviews, and organizational needs.
• Track and analyze turnover, attendance, staffing, compensation, and other HR metrics.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding tasks as part of the recruitment process.
