Job summary

Hydro is seeking an HR Manager to lead the human resources function, ensure compliance with labor laws and policies, and partner with facility leadership to drive workforce planning, engagement, and performance management. The role will oversee recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations while mitigating risks and fostering a high‑performance culture.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in HR within manufacturing, experience with union environments if applicable, and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
• 7+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience with collective bargaining and labor relations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR function aligned with business objectives.
• Drive workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
• Oversee employee relations, engagement, and performance management.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations including payroll/benefits.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and CBAs where applicable.
