Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead and support all HR functions in accordance with Omni standards and local laws. The role covers training, employee relations, development programs, and recruitment.

You will manage J1 and H2B visa programs, oversee HRIS, post openings, schedule interviews, track applicants, and participate in wage surveys while mentoring leaders and interns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Human Resources Management experience in a high-volume environment on site.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven leadership, delegation, training, development and mentoring abilities.
• Experience engaging associates at all levels; union experience preferred but not required.
• Experience managing J1 and H2B visa programs is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Human Resources principles and handling sensitive matters.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute associate events for the HR Department.
• Act as liaison to management for all associates.
• Document associate issues promptly following counseling procedures.
• Post openings on company career site and job boards; schedule interviews.
• Track applicants and move through interview/approval processes.
• Assist with wage surveys to ensure competitive compensation.
• Oversee J1 and H2B visa workers and visa program compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for J1 and H2 workers; address concerns.
• Manage HRIS compliance (applicant flow log, background checks, I-9s, etc.).
• Promote Omni Six Pillars culture and opportunities within hotel and company.
• Perform other duties as assigned; heavy involvement in Internship program.
