Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts offers a hands-on Human Resources internship designed to rotate interns through multiple front-line and support roles across the property. This summer program provides practical exposure to HR functions, guest service coordination, and organizational development initiatives within a hospitality setting.

Interns participate in training sessions, work on real projects, and demonstrate teamwork while developing critical business and people skills in a fast-paced hotel

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and take on different projects.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Flexible in working various entry level service positions within the property.
• Rotate between projects and focus areas supporting all Human Resources functions at the Resort.
• Attend to and anticipate associate needs.
• Demonstrate adaptability and scheduling flexibility.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork.
• Attend Omni Care Internship training and enrichment seminars during the summer.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources Leader.

Job description

Hands on training opportunity in human resources for someone to learn various aspects of the hotel business. This position is a "utility player" who will rotate throughout various departments and positions based upon business need. Omni Care Interns are provided a internship opportunity that will result in acceptance into our LID (Leader in Development) program at the end of the summer season based upon performance.
