Job summary

Powerex, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager based in Mt. Juliet, TN, with occasional travel to Harrison, OH.

This hybrid role leads day-to-day HR operations and partners with site leaders to improve processes and the employee experience. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and supported by a part-time HR Coordinator, you will manage recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leaves, performance management, and HR data in Workday, while driving scalable HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in generalist/HRBP/HR Manager roles.
• Broad working knowledge of HR practices: recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave, performance, HR systems, compliance.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments preferred.
• Workday HRIS experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers across the organization.
• Coordinate recruiting and hiring activities, including postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Manage employee lifecycle: hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, reorganizations, separations.
• Maintain HR data accuracy and complete transactions in Workday and other systems.
• Coordinate benefits, leaves, payroll-related changes and other employee programs.
