Provide hands on HR support for an employee population of approximately 130 to 140 employees Partner with managers and employees as a visible and accessible HR resource Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance regarding workplace concerns, performance and disciplinary issues Assist with employee investigations and sensitive workplace matters Partner with the recruiting team and hiring managers throughout the hiring and onboarding process Coordinate background checks, required clearances and preemployment requirements Guide new employees through onboarding, orientation and required training Track employee training requirements and ensure required certifications and training remain current Maintain accurate personnel documentation and HR records Support managers with HR policies, procedures and employee related questions Assist with accommodations and other employee support matters Participate in performance management and employee development initiatives Support compensation analysis, salary surveys and job description updates as needed Identify opportunities to improve HR procedures, training and employee engagement Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal employment requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred 2+ years of progressive human resources experience preferred Hands on employee relations experience required Experience advising managers regarding employee performance, disciplinary matters and workplace concerns Experience with onboarding, training and HR compliance Ability to manage a high volume of employee questions and HR issues Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable and engaging communication style Ability to establish credibility and build relationships with employees and management Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with HR leadership Healthcare, home health, human services or similarly employee intensive industry experience preferred
