Job summary

CFS is seeking an experienced HR Manager in Park Ridge, IL, to lead HR operations and act as a trusted partner to senior leadership. The role covers employee relations, talent management, engagement, compliance, and team development while supporting HR initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with strong employee relations skills, sound judgment, and the ability to coach leaders, develop employees, and drive consistent HR practices across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Admin or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience leading or supervising HR staff.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with corporate leaders on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Lead employee engagement, retention, recognition, and talent development initiatives.
• Oversee corporate recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain consistent HR policies and practices.
• Support compensation administration, annual merit processes, and coordination with payroll and benefits.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR staff.
