Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a growing manufacturing facility in Devens, MA. You will be the lead HR partner for site leadership, blending strategic HR partnership with hands‑on operational execution to support business objectives and employee success.

The role focuses on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and change management, with a strong emphasis on engagement and culture.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • 3+ years of HR leadership or management experience.
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, operations, distribution, or a related environment.
  • Strong employee relations and conflict‑resolution expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, leadership development and coaching.
  • Experience supporting organizational growth, change, or business transformation.
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably ADP.
  • Experience partnering directly with manufacturing or plant leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and drive organizational change in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement workforce and talent strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, and performance management.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, and talent development initiatives.
  • Champion employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support recruiting and staffing strategies in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Coach and develop leaders on performance management, employee development, and best HR practices.
  • Lead HR support for site growth, organizational transformation, and change management initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performing work environment.
