performance supportHelp create an HR function that is responsive, consistent, trusted, and connected to the needs of the organizationSupport Employees & LeadersServe as a trusted HR resource for employees, managers, and organizational leadershipHelp navigate employee relations, workplace concerns, performance, conflict, conduct, and other employment mattersCoach managers through difficult conversations and people-related decisionsPromote fair, consistent, confidential, and timely resolution of workplace concernsRecognize when an issue requires additional support and appropriately involve the VP of Administration or other resourcesStrengthen Recruiting, Onboarding & Employee DevelopmentOversee recruiting and hiring processes in partnership with our Talent Specialist and hiring managersHelp ensure job descriptions, interviews, selection practices, and hiring processes are consistent and effectiveSupport workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiativesOversee a welcoming and consistent onboarding experience for new employeesStrengthen performance management, feedback, coaching, development planning, and career growth practicesSupport Benefits, Payroll & Employee ProgramsProvide leadership and oversight for payroll, benefits, compensation changes, and related programsSupport leave of absence and workplace accommodation processesPartner with employees, managers, payroll, benefits providers, and other resources to ensure appropriate support and follow-throughHelp ensure important employee programs are administered accurately, consistently, and confidentiallyKeep Us Compliant, Consistent & Moving ForwardMaintain and improve HR policies, procedures, tools, and resourcesHelp ensure HR practices align with succeedWhat You'll BringRequiredBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with demonstrated HR Generalist experienceExperience overseeing multiple areas of HR including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits, payroll, performance management, compliance, and employee experiencePrevious experience supervising or leading HR professionalsStrong knowledge of employment practices, HR policies, and applicable employment laws and regulationsExperience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretionStrong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively advise managers and leaders while building trust with employees at all levelsStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel regularly between Bigfoot locations across OregonPreferredSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certificationExperience working in a growing or changing organizationExperience with HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and applicant tracking systemsExperience developing or improving HR policies, programs, and processesExperience using HR data and workforce metrics to
