Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration with HR specialization or management including personnel administration/industrial relations coursework.
• Four years of responsible professional work experience in HR management, with at least one year in education-related settings.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable as determined by the Department.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for multiple union contracts and assist in contract interpretation.
• Coordinate grievances, prepare briefs, and participate in arbitration and mediation.
• Assist managers with disciplinary actions and advise on related decisions.
• Work with DOE offices to jointly represent the Superintendent on bargaining matters.
• Develop, modify, and conduct workshops on contract administration and bargaining.
• Review documents for contractual implications and perform related duties.
