Job summary

Guardian Life’s 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week experience in a global financial services company. You’ll engage in HR policy review, knowledge management, and AI-enabled support tools, with projects affecting our business and interaction with leaders.

The internship runs May 27, 2027–August 6, 2027, in Bethlehem, PA, with a rolling application review and a close deadline of 11:59 PM ET on November 13, 2026.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, gaps, inconsistencies, and improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in HR technology, knowledge management, and AI-enabled employee support tools.
• Ability to create clear, user-friendly documentation that simplifies complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing HR policies, SOPs, process documentation, work instructions, and knowledge articles.
• Analyze content across repositories including NeoCase and Inside Guardian.
• Standardize document formats, templates, naming conventions, and content structures.
• Identify outdated, duplicative, or inconsistent documentation and recommend improvements.
• Create clear, user-friendly process documentation that simplifies HR and Workday transactions.
• Develop process maps, job aids, workflow diagrams, and reference materials.
