Job summary

LCS invites interested students to join a full-time HR internship in Des Moines, IA. This 12-week program runs May through August, offering hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership. Interns contribute to Talent Development projects and present results to leaders at the end of the summer.

You will work 40 hours per week, collaborate across departments, and gain broad exposure to our operations and mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• The Human Resources intern will support the Talent Development team and receive practical, hands‑on learning experiences in human resources with a goal of applying their classroom education to actual LCS projects.
• Assist with planning content for conferences by attending planning calls and participating in discussions to determine content
• Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities
• Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship
• Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities
