Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an HR Intern to support recruiting, onboarding, and HRIS tasks at our Mayfield Heights, OH location. This paid internship runs through the summer with on-site hours and school-year follow-up available.

You will assist in planning internship workshops, manage resumes, and contribute to employee events, while gaining real-world HR experience within a Fortune 250 global leader.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR or business, HR minor preferred.
• At least two years of undergraduate coursework completed.
• Able to work in-office in Mayfield Heights, OH.
• Available to start as early as May 2027.
• Onsite 40 hours per week during summer (May–Aug 2027).
• Onsite 16–24 hours per week during school year (Aug 2027–May 2028).
• Excellent administrative skills and detail orientation.
• Able to provide high-quality customer service via phone, email, and in-person.
• Strong project management skills to support multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• HR generalist duties: talent acquisition, onboarding, records, and audits.
• Plan and assist social responsibility events and team recognitions.
• HRIS administration and data integrity.
• Sort resumes and schedule interviews.
• Coordinate info sessions and provide event resources.
• Market employment opportunities to target audiences.
• Assist in planning summer internship workshops and events.
• Research college recruitment and generate reports.
• Track progress, deadlines, and priorities for projects.
• Maintain high customer service levels with internal/external clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
