Job summary

Parker Hannifin is offering an HR Internship based at our Global Headquarters in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. The role supports the HR department across talent acquisition, onboarding, HRIS administration, and program events.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in HR or business, with at least two years of coursework, and can work full-time onsite in the summer and part-time during the school year. This is a paid internship focused on real-world HR experience.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a business field, preferably with an HR Minor.
• At least two years of undergraduate coursework completed.
• Ability to work in-office in Mayfield Heights, OH.
• Able to start as early as May 2027.
• Available onsite 40 hours per week during the summer (May 2027 - August 2027).
• Available onsite 16-24 hours per week during the school year (August 2027 - May 2028).
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people.
• Problem solving capabilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Able to provide high-quality customer service through phone calls, email, and face to face interactions.
• Strong project management skills to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process incoming resumes.
• Schedule interviews.

• Market employment opportunities to target audiences.
• Assist in planning and executing summer internship workshops/events.
• Complete assigned research related to college recruiting and generate reports.
• Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects.
• Maintain a satisfied level of customer service with clients both internal and external.
• Other duties as assigned.
