Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWXT) is seeking an HR Intern on-site at our Innovation Campus in Lynchburg, VA. You will support talent management, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations across multiple business units.

Responsibilities include updating role profiles, dashboards, and talent programs, while you gain hands-on experience in HR strategy, employee relations, and analytics. Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field.
• Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study or be enrolled in a graduate program.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Discretion handling highly sensitive information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to summarize complex information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching, drafting, and updating role profiles and career pathways.
• Support workforce capability assessments and development planning templates.
• Coordinate notes for talent programs and stay interviews.
• Administer and analyze employee feedback (engagement, onboarding, pulse, exit).
• Build dashboards tracking turnover and retention metrics.
