Barnes & Thornburg LLP invites motivated students to join the BT RISE HR Internship for a 10-week summer program in Indianapolis. Under supervision of the HR team, you will perform HR administrative duties and contribute to departmental projects.

You will gain exposure to HR functions, practice data entry, communication, and confidentiality while collaborating with interns across teams. Enrollment in a 2- or 4-year program is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college program or recent graduate.
• Pursuing a degree that aligns with a future career path in Human Resources.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical or spelling errors.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR department to deliver meaningful work that contributes to departmental and business objectives.
• Collaborate with HR team members on assigned projects, data entry and analysis, and process documentation.
• Participate in internal and external meetings to develop an aptitude for field of study and business acumen.
• Observe confidentiality in all HR, Client, and Firm matters.
• Collaborate with other departments and summer interns, where applicable.
