Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking an Human Resources Intern to support Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner, Learning & Development, Inclusion, and HR Services on project-based work at our Chicago office.

You will collaborate with teams and senior leaders to learn from their careers in commercial real estate, building practical HR knowledge and hands-on skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and expected graduation by 2028.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in HR projects with stakeholders.
• Prepare materials like quick reference guides, org charts, and presentations.
• Maintain HR SharePoint pages for self-service resources.
• Track progress of assigned HR initiatives.
• Support scheduling of meetings and trainings.
• Assist with HR policies, benefits, and inquiries.
• Upload information to employee files.
• Other duties as assigned.
